This was really well-written and set in an intriguing fantasy world. I enjoyed it. I would be happy to read more set in this world, even without spankings and other naughty times. ;)

This was really well-written and set in an intriguing fantasy world. I enjoyed it. I have to admit the spanking stuff felt a *little* shoehorned in—as if it had been written as a straightforward fantasy romance with spanking added at the last minute—but that didn't really detract from anything. I would be happy to read more set in this world.

A totally unbelievable and improbable story. It did not read right and I could not wait to finish it.

This is such a powerful drama and it draws you in from the beginning. And yet it keeps you guessing until the end. This is a beautiful story.

Cool, awesomely different tale. I first read a sample in the freebie section & when I tried to buy it realised this novella had not yet been published. So this was a pleasant surprise on the 10th day of Christmas. And SR did not disappoint - not only is this an unusual tale but it kept me gripped throughout with such a surprising end. The unusual way this author deals with her heroines who are strong characters is appealing in itself. The plot flowed smoothly while still being riveting. Would like to see a lot more of this writer & this story can easily be a sequel to much more. Would definitely recommend to others.
