For six months, Shea Murphy has been moving from city to city, attempting to distance herself from her failure as both a sub and wife following her husband’s suicide. With the loss of her Master’s strict discipline to keep her obsessive compulsive disorder under control, she’s finally driven to seek relief with another Dom. Entering The Warehouse, she has but one purpose, and that is to leave with a sore bottom which would relieve the unbearable stress—at least long enough to get her to her next destination, wherever that may be. She has absolutely no desire for anything from this incredible Dominant other than punishment, and fights with everything she has against revealing the true demons tormenting her so. However, after two sessions with Master Fin, her urge to flee Richmond subsides and she takes a temporary job at a restaurant.

Fin O’Dell returns after a week out of town to find the sub he couldn’t forget is now his newest employee. Catching her stressing in his kitchen after closing, his quick response of another blistering spanking gives her the relief she needs. Loving all women, Fin has happily played the field for years. He's never found it difficult to send a submissive on her way after he's helped her discover what she desires. But now the feisty lady sharing his home has him wondering if he, like his friends, has finally found the one woman who would capture his heart forever. As much as he is falling for Shea, he can not go further until she has learned to trust him in all ways. If that takes several trips over his lap or bound to apparatus at The Warehouse, so be it.

As Shea succumbs to Fin as a Master a little more each day, she struggles with her perceived guilt over her husband’s suicide, refusing to believe Fin’s insistence Gerard was not the man – or the Dom – she thought he was. When the truth comes out, she's forced to ask herself: has she waited too long to trust Fin? Or will just one simple word be enough to put the past behind her and give herself without reservation to her new Master?

Shea, the heroine, has an issue that is somewhat controlled by a bit of discipline from one particular Dom. Unfortunately, her lack of communication with Master Fin leaves her worse off than she needs to be. If only she'd followed the communication rule.... While the story was well written, it was not as interesting or entertaining for me as the other books in the series. I will continue with the series though because I cannot wait to read Wes' story.

This is a very well written book that holds the reader’s attention from front to back. The author deals sensitively with the difficult subject of OCD and highlights the intense need that some people have for BDSM and all that it entails. The characters are well rounded and complex, as is the story line. The main emphasis is on emotion and responsibility, which casts those that lack in these areas into the spotlight. The minor plots within the story are written in such a way that they do not overshadow the main story of the developing relationship between Shea and Finn. I will certainly be reading more work by this author.

I love this book and the series in general. B J Wane never has disappointed me. I have read several books. This, as well as the other 2 Blueblood’s books, can be read as standalone but I recommend you read in order This entire series deals with strong emotional content, trust issues especially. They all deal with real controversies and how communication through the BDSM theme can help heal , establish trust and extreme and strong love bonds between partners.

This is the third book in the Virginia Bluebloods series. This is Fin's and Shea's story. Shea is trying to recover from her husband and Master's death. He was much older than she was and helped her control her OCD by discipline. Because of the guilt that she feels about his death she is having lots of trouble controlling her OCD and she has a lot of trust issues. She finds Fin and he helps her, but she has a hard time believing that he loves her. This is more about BDSM than it is about domestic discipline. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I give this 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book by BJ Wane. Shea is a young woman carrying a heavy burden of guilt that shouldn't be hers to carry. She suffers greatly from OCD as a way to cope with her fears. She meets Fin and he is quickly enamored with this troubled young woman. He is willing to help her work through her troubles. His discipline seems to be working to, if only she can release her fears and guilt. This book is a must read. I would also suggest going back and reading the two novels before this one as characters are mentioned from them as well.

BJ Wane does it again. The first two books in this series where great and this, the third one, is no exception. This time Master Fin, a hot guy with a Scottish brogue, is one of the main characters the other is Shea who was married previously to her former Professor Gerard, he was now deceased Shea also suffers from OCD and trust issues. Shea keeps comparing Fin with her husband. This book does have some twists and turns with Shea continually trying Fin's patience and thinking about leaving Fin. I loved this book I only wish that is was longer it seemed to end abruptly, which doesn't take away from the ending. I just hope that the Author has more books in this series to come, that will included more about Fin and Shea. There is also Master Wes that has not found a life long partner.

Shea has OCD issues stemming from childhood experiences and probably aggravated by adult experiences also. Spanking gives her relief from her OCD. The therapy she received along with the love, care & spankings provided by Finn helped her control her OCD and get perspective on her past experiences. Love and trust grew between the two of them and it was heartwarming to read.

A great page turner, with well written characters. I really enjoyed it and was sorry when it finished, I wanted more but the ending is wonderful. There are very spicy sex scenes and lots of spankings all underlined with love and lots of caring and support. This series gets better with each edition but can be read as a standalone but I would recommend the other books are read.

The plot of the story is full of blame, guilt, anger, hurt, confusion, and a desire to please and trying to make amends to a deceased husband. The characters in these stories are very well developed and engaging. The way Fin deals with Shea is open and honest, but he knows she holds back, and her dead husband haunts her and is caught up in their relationship. The story keeps the majority of issues with Gerard in the background and slowly brings the truth to light, adding a touch of mystery and suspense. What will it take for Shea to quit blaming herself for other’s failures and to accept and trust Fin? The story is explicit in sex scenes including several ménage à trios scenes at The Warehouse. For Shea, she could be very open with pain and carnal delights, giving over control to Master Fin. It is her personal emotions and memories that haunt her, holding her back, like an open wound that just won’t heal until she is willing to bury her past and move forward with her future.

This story held my attention from beginning to end. Shea is a really troubled woman recovering from the suicide of her husband, and the terrible effects of OCD which cause her to behave in compulsive ways to relieve stresses she is constantly feeling. Spankings are a means of stress relief for her, and she seeks the opportunity to have a spanking at The Warehouse – a club near the motel where she is living. Meeting Fin, and coming to live with him, enables her to substitute spankings and other punishments for the compulsive behaviors – and as time passes, she gradually develops strong feelings for Fin – and he, for her. How they work through these issues makes an interesting story that is also filled with various sexual and BDSM activities.
