She broke the law to catch a police officer. Only he caught her first, and then put her over his knee.

Tiffany Morgan has been in love with Kyle Sinclair since she was ten years old, when he'd turned her over his knee for attempting to swim, but instead nearly drowning, in a raging white water river. Though she'd been furious with him at the time, Tiffany never told her family what Kyle did. Instead, she began trailing after him like an annoying younger sister as she tried to gain his attention.

Now, eleven years later, Kyle, a patrol officer, is finding it much more difficult to maintain his distance from the irresistible and vivacious redhead who continues to invent ingenious ways to attract his interest. Though he dismissed her initial attraction to him as infatuation, as she grew-up, his own feelings of desire and protectiveness deepened. So, despite his constant struggle to resist the spirited little minx's lures, Kyle has to finally admit that he is losing that battle--badly.

However, when Tiffany's attention-seeking pranks escalate to the point of endangering her life, Kyle decides it is past time for him to take a much firmer hand to Miss Morgan's deliciously rounded backside.

Kyle is a firm supporter of law and order, and a man's rightful dominion over the woman he loves. So, to make sure Tiffany understands and accepts his mastery when it comes to her safety and well-being, Kyle lays down the law, and his hand, with loving firmness. Tiffany will learn to obey him, or else. Especially now that he's decided she is going to be his wife.

Having read A Dom’s Dilemma yesterday, I was excited when I reread the synopsis for Arrested by Love and realized that it was the same Kyle and I was going to get to read his story. The opening scene was priceless and had me hooked on Tiffany’s character almost immediately. That girl was trouble with a capital ‘T’ but the kind that left me laughing at her antics rather than worried about how things could go badly. Although after that first spanking as an adult, you would think Tiffany would have learned to tread more carefully around Kyle, but then how would that have made for an entertaining read? I enjoyed watching Tiffany make her plays for Kyle’s attention but not nearly as much as when years’ worth of sexual tension finally overrode his control. I really liked that Ms. Blake showed bits and pieces of Kyle’s courting of Tiffany and made it clear that it occurred over several months despite them having known one another since childhood. What I did not enjoy was finding out the collateral damage of Kelly’s scene with Jim at the police station – but that was because of how it affected Tiffany, and Kyle as well. Even though I understood Kyle’s willingness to abide by Tiffany’s father’s wishes, I will admit that I was surprised it took Kyle so long to stop abiding by them especially as they had been working toward what seemed to be a Domestic Discipline relationship. But what broke my heart even as it made me happy was the uncertainty and insecurity Tiffany had to deal with once she and Kyle got back together. Not only did the author provide the couple with a nice resolution, but she also gave Tiffany a new friend from a rather surprising source. My main complaint and where the story lost my attention was the large portion of the book that overlapped with A Dom’s Dilemma. To be fair, Arrested by Love was released first which means that the scenes are actually from this book and were repeated in A Dom’s Dilemma, but being as I read the books out of order (according to publication dates), I found myself bored through a decent portion of the book as the occasional commentary from Kyle regarding Jim and Kelly’s relationship meant I had to reread multiple scenes so that I could gain more insight into Kyle. Truth be told, as bored as I was with the replay of those scenes, they actually impacted my rating very little. In the end, while I enjoyed Arrested by Love more than A Dom’s Dilemma, I still consider it to be a good and solid 3-star read for me. I do look forward to reading more of Ms. Blake’s writing in the future. I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

More of a 3.5, but giving the benefit of the doubt. I did like both characters, but thought Tiffany's was a little unbelievable (unless she was raised in a convent). She was way to innocent. Also, my thought would be, once a Dom always a Dom, and for him to basically give up that lifestyle didn't fly with me. I also didn't like the pregnant thing too much either. Maybe make it a scare, but have her not be pregnant. I think it would be better for them to know each other first, not have a marriage based on a baby. I did like the addition of Jim and Kelly and know there is a book about them as well. I did like the writing style and would like to read more from the author.

I love it when an author takes the time to write a story that is long enough to really tell a story! You can really get into the characters! This is a great one. Well done Kathryn Blake!

I've found an author who understands that a good story is not just one well developed but also has quality accompanied by quantity. This was a story with it all. A dominant male who is clear on how is lady love should behave and not afraid to reinforce his view with a firm hand.

This book was an okay read. It seemed to jump around a lot and there was parts of it i just didn't get. I thought Tiffany was a real brat. I liked that no matter how much Tiffany acted up Kyle never gave up. I didn't like that Kyle wasn't honest with Tiffany about Kelly.

This was a pretty good book about a domestic discipline relationship. I liked the premise of the story. I did think there were times the story lagged, but the spankings were good and it was a nice love story.

This was a quick but good read .The hero has been looking out for her since they was kids so he continues in to adulthood. It has some romance which for me is what makes a book .

Tiffany has been in love with Kyle for a long time. She finally has the man she loves. She discovers he is a loving but dominate man. Kyle has not been completely honest with her and ends up risking the future of their relationship. Things finally come to a head when Kyle learns Tiffany is in poor health. He steps in and puts his foot down. I really enjoyed this story. The characters and story line are well developed. I highly recommend!

This story was just OK for me. Tiffany seemed very immature, and I thought the storyline of Kyle being a Dom and a police officer was a bit strange. Interesting twist.

I kind of wish the spankings were a bit harsher in this story and more frequent. It was a good quick read, but not quite my cup of tea since it ended so abruptly. I would've liked to see more focus on the actual relationship rather than drama with exes.

Kathryn Blake is fast becoming a favorite author of mine and this story is one of teh reasons why. I love the interactions between Kyle and Tiffany and how dominate but loving he is with her no matter how much she acts out.

This one was a bit odd. Parts were good, but overall, I felt like it didn’t really know what it was, or where it was supposed to go. Parts were DD, parts were D/s, and it didn’t really mesh. Plus, I found it annoying and stressful that the hero was keeping big secrets from the heroine (who was ‘too innocent’ to know about his sordid past, or some such logic), even after he made a big deal about being honest. And really, since he was still living that life, I don’t get how he could just think she didn’t need to know. Grr.

This was not one of my favorites. Tiffany is very immature and I don't think can really consent to the relationship they have. The whole part with Kelly and Jim just seemed to be thrown in there. I also didn't care for the end where he was hiding his real relationship with Kelly because he thought Tiffany would not be able to accept it. And then to throw in the pregnancy. Wow. Just did not seem in the least bit romantic to me.

I liked this book. The characters were well developed and likeable. However I was surprised by Kelly and the whole BDSM scene. Kelly's character just doesn't jive.
Overall I would say it was a good read... What's not to love about a sexy police officer offering a spanking instead of a ticket?

The story is articulate and original, the characters are well developed though I was a little puzzled about the character of Kelly, at the beginning she seems weak and selfish, after becomes kind and loving. Overall, a story that one reads with pleasure.

This was one of my favorite stories that I have read from this site. I loved the conflict between the main characters and the resolution. I loved Kyle I thought he was a strong character.

I really liked this book. Tiffany and Kyle have great relationship. Kyle is very dominant but he also really cares about her. His past involving BDSM seemed to come out of nowhere but I still loved it
