This is a sweet love story between Jocelyn and Liam where true love blooms and grows. Well-developed characters deal with the struggles in a DD relationship. This is story telling at its finest that gripped me from the start and kept the pages turning.

A rather frustrating read for me. Jocelyn was very independent and had a hard time giving up that independence. Liam was very dominant and not given to compromise. While most of his edicts were directed toward safety, I found it extremely frustrating that he was so unreasonable and at times, a hypocrite. He forced Jocelyn to give up her job after one incident with a client's boyfriend - an incident that she handled correctly and professionally. He never allowed any discussion on the matter - just an ultimatum. I HATE that she forgave him so easily and didn't insist on renegotiating. He took away her self-respect and sense of purpose and never had to account for that. When Jocelyn was understandably upset, he punished her "for withholding love and affection", yet twice when he was angry, he walked out on Jocelyn. Once leaving her in town to find her way home. Alone, pregnant and visibly upset - how is that safe? And if he is so concerned with her well-being, why did he continue to take his 1 and 2 weeks trips, leaving his pregnant wife alone? He could have found someone else to cover those trips. As Jocelyn once stated, she had to give up everything and he gave up nothing - Liam may have been the HH, but personally, I don't think he was a good, fair leader. The author leaves us hanging - I only hope that Jocelyn is allowed to get the new resource center up and running and that she continues to have something engaging to do outside of the home.

I enjoyed this book. It is a type of manual for domestic discipline. Liam is a dominant very busy man married to Jocelyn. She wants his attention and time but all on her own terms and conditions. He tries to keep her safe but she fights against him. It is nicely written. I have not read the other books in the series but I had no trouble following the story. I recommend it.

I love this series. I am drawn into this couples struggles all the way through. This was a great read and very enjoyable. They definitely need to learn to communicate and listen better. I hope there is another book coming since the author left us hanging. I would love to see some books about Liam's brothers too.

This is book 3 of the relationship and life of Liam and Jocelyn. To fully follow this relationship, it is best that these books are read in order. They marry, live on his ranch; she has her job as a social worker, but not everything is roses. These two love each other completely, but they clash when it comes to issues, her job, his rules, etc. She is consistently trying to top from the bottom and is manipulative, and he is demanding and dominant, but his rules and reasoning are using health and safety. When she hides important information and it comes to light, his anger and disappointment are more than ever before. Jocelyn is one who pushes until he must push back, but that means over his knee with a spanking. Will she push too far and jeopardize their marriage?
